And so it begins…
How does one describe themselves, when they are but a collection of countless past experiences, and endless desires? Ultimately, I am an individual seeking direction in life, with a never-ending bucket list, and not enough time to check them all off in this one lifetime.
I am a photographer, a writer, an environmentalist, a mental health advocate, and a forever student and lover of life - searching for ways to share my lessons and journey through story-telling and imagery.
I’ve created Golden Hour to be a collection of resources, reflections, and connections in the realms of mental health and environmentalism. I’ve spent a lot of time these past few years wanting to create another personal project, but struggled to narrow down a path. As someone who enjoys many things and remains curious about even more, this became incredibly difficult, and almost near impossible. I wanted this to be something meaningful for myself and others; Something to inspire reflection, change, and connection. As I’ve sat with and reflected on numerous occasions the things that matter to me most – I found I could tie every one of them back to one of two categories: mental health and the environment.
Golden Hour will be an ever-evolving space where I’ll continue to share regular travel updates through Connections, reflections on life experiences and navigating mental health through Healing, tips for living a life with the health of our planet at the forefront through Impact, people+businesses making a difference in these three realms, and resources for where to learn more (books/podcasts/websites/films/etc.).
Stay passionate & curious,
Hunter 💛
