Waste-Less Wednesdays Episode 10: Luffa

Welcome back to Waste-Less Wednesdays!

I don’t know how a swap could be more sustainable than the luffa… this natural body scrubber is made 100% from the luffa plant, which can be grown right here in Canada! Synthetic luffa’s are natural breeding grounds for bacteria (like your kitchen sponges) and often made of plastic, which can leak out microplastics over time. By switching to this natural alternative, you have a product that can be 100% composted at its end of life.

Remember that it’s the little changes you choose to make today, that lead to a greater impact tomorrow.

Stay passionate and curious,
Hunter 💛
