Waste-Less Wednesdays Episode 7: Cotton Swabs

Welcome to this weeks episode of Waste-Less Wednesdays: Cotton/Ear Swabs

Did you know that 1.5 MILLION cotton swabs are produced DAILY?! This totals to a global usage of 547,500,000 swabs ending up in landfills ANNUALLY. Not only are they harmful for the environment, but they’re wildly ineffective in comparison to its reusable alternative.

The @lastobject ‘Last Swab’ makes cleaning out your ears much more effective, and doesn’t leave any waste behind. Simply use like you would a cotton swab, and use water + soap to clean off the wax after each use. It’s that simple. If you’re looking for more guidance on what a “zero-waste” life looks like, check out my post: “How and What You Buy Matters.”

Stay passionate and curious,
Hunter 💛
